I like red Subaru’s and it has nothing to do with Baby Driver.

Okay it’s 90% because of Baby Driver.

Yeah I was going through my Instagram posts a weeks or so ago and found a video of my Galant VR-4 that reeeeeally made me miss having a small AWD Turbo car.

The e90 is fine, but it’s big, and NA. Just not as much fun. Altho it’s been a lot more reliable than the Galant lol. In the 19  months I’ve owned it I’ve put on 18,000 miles. In the 2.5 years I owned the Galant I put on 5,000. You can’t put miles on a car that isn’t running.

All looks well, then the price...............

Over $7k for a boosted econobox  with 164k miles?

How high are you?

Yeah, the maintenance/mods list is pretty long, which could be a good thing. But at the same time the owner is bcasically saying “this car cost me a lot of money to maintain. And I’d like to get some of it back”

I’ve owned both a (NA) Saabaru and a turbo subaru (OBXT) and neither of them cost me that much or had close to that many miles when purchased. That said, that is a fine looking automobile and it seems to still have at least a little bit of life left in it....

I love the turbo power I have now, but I have to admit the Saabaru was a FAR better platform handling wise. It felt planted on bumpy back roads even up to 100mph (don’t ask me how I know) and was super tossable in snow . My OBXT is a hoot ripping 0-60, but anything over 80 gets scary, and other than one trip to the drag strip I don’t think I’ve ever broken 90 in it.

As much as I want to rip this thing on price (and it is higher then I’d be comfortable paying certainly ) it’s probably not far off the going rate. Any cheaper and it’s probably already blown up, and if you switch to a different model to go turbo cheaper you could probably spend a couple grand getting it to handle before they compare. I think the price is a sad reflection of the fact that nobody is making small, turbo, awd cars with manuals anymore, especially with a hatch . At best it’s pick 3 out of the 4
